Good night, my dear friends! πβ¨
Before I drift off to sleep, let me tell you about the little imaginary conversation I had in my head tonight.
An astronaut finally lands on a distant planet after years of training, sweating through simulations, and eating way too much dehydrated ice cream. He steps out of his spaceship, trying to look brave and professional, plants the flag dramatically, and suddenly an alien pops up behind him.
Alien: βOh good, youβre here.β
Astronaut (panicking internally but trying to stay cool): βI come in peace!β
Alien: βThe alien looks at him and replies, βPeace? We ordered pizza.β π½π
The astronaut, confused, points to Earth in the sky and says, βThatβs my home.β The alien squints and goes, βOhhh, the noisy blue planet? Yeah, we hear your music at 3 a.m.β Do you also come with Wi-Fi? Because ours has been buffering for three light-years.β
The astronaut blinks. βWait you have internet?β
Alien sighs. βOf course. Weβve been watching your planet for years. Weβre still confused about your reality shows.β
Astronaut, feeling slightly offended: βWell, at least we made it to space.β
Alien shrugs. βYes, but you still argue in the comments section.β
They both look at Earth glowing in the distance.
Alien: βSo, you traveled millions of miles. What are you really looking for?β
Astronaut thinks for a moment and says, βHonestly? A little peace and maybe better snacks.β
Alien nods seriously. βAh. Same.β
And just like that, they sit together under two moons, sharing cosmic snacks and laughing about how strange and wonderful the universe is.
So if today felt heavy, confusing, or a little out of this world, just imagine somewhere out there an alien is also trying to figure things out. π
Sleep well, recharge like a spaceship, and may your dreams be lighter than gravity. Good night, my dear friends. πππ«
