A very common belief in Pakistan is the idea that marks (grades) decide your entire future. Many people think that if a student doesn’t get top scores, they won’t succeed in life. I don’t agree with this because marks only measure a limited type of intelligence, mostly related to memorization, not creativity or real-life skills. many successful people didn’t have perfect academic records, yet they achieved great things through passion and hard work. this belief puts extreme pressure on students, affecting their mental health and confidence. , it ignores different talents like sports, arts, communication, or entrepreneurship, which are equally valuable. life success depends on skills like problem-solving, consistency, and adaptability, not just exam scores. focusing only on marks can make learning boring, turning it into a race rather than a meaningful process. everyone has a different pace and path, so judging someone’s future based only on grades is unfair and unrealistic.
That's true but unfortunately our education system didn't build character, they focus on numerical value and the competition bring the race of marks. Thanks for sharing your opinion
