Wunderflats Scam in Munich. Terrible company
I got scammed after booking an apartment through Wunderflats in Munich.
I went through the normal booking process, signed the rental contract provided through Wunderflats and transferred the €3,290 deposit according to the contract.
The landlord then turned out to be a scammer.
What has been especially frustrating is the response afterwards. I called Wunderflats five times and sent several emails. For six days, nobody replied to my emails about the fraud case.
I have already filed a police report and my lawyer is now preparing legal action. I kept the contract, transfer confirmation and all emails/call records.
Posting this mainly as a warning for anyone using Wunderflats: even when you follow the platform’s booking process and receive a contract through them, please verify everything independently before transferring a deposit.
I will update this post depending on how Wunderflats handles the case.
