Toothpaste, the little travel tubes
Ok, ok. the wife generally appreciates how frugal I am, but with my latest money saving tactic, she thinks that I may be getting senile.
I have just successfully refilled two of those little travel size toothpaste tubes. I wouldn't let her throw them away on our recent vacation and naturally got the expected eye-roll.
Once home, I took the empty little tubes and held the opening firmly against our large tube while squeezing the big tube...it worked. No mess, no fuss and I already packed one for this weekend's adventure to visit my daughter.
Ahhh...life is good!
