Has anyone successfully adopted the detached mindset for corporate?

This is something I desperately want to learn. I work a government job in a corporate environment. While I do like that I'm not making executives richer, I'm realizing there's still all the corporate bs that goes on in public sector roles.

I'm at the point where I get stressed and anxious over mistakes I make. Even though I have great performance reviews. Every mistake, however little it sets back a project, activates my fight or flight and panic. I can't seem to detach from work when the workday is over.

Now my philosophy is if you don't work in healthcare or in emergency services, then your job doesn't actually matter much. Even government jobs that serve the public are usually office based on most don't make a huge difference in people's quality of life. I'm working because I have to pay bills and survive. And I want to be the type who can make a mistake and not tie it to my self worth. I want to be able to make a mistake and say "whoops! Guess I'll fix it" and not rush and frantically try to make amends. Im not the type for career development or advancement. I don't care if I never get promoted. But I want my nervous system to settle down because I'm not saving lives at my job.

Has anyone here got to that place of detachment? If so, id appreciate any strategies. I have plenty of hobbies, activities outside of work such as volunteering or hangouts with friends. I take all my vacation days and take sick days when needed. But damn I cannot get over my mistakes at work.
