Can't callout, even fully staffed
I'm a key holder. I get that part of my job is being the reliable one. I have not called out in months. I open today. I contacted my store manager, I was unable to contact the other two managers. Four managers makes our store fully staffed. I am unable to call out. I have to go open the store for the other associates that need to do their jobs in other departments. I need to put money in the cash registers etc.
I imagine what would happen if I actually didn't fucking show up. Everyone would freak out, my store manager would probably have to come in and to open the store physically. I'd probably get written up, I don't even think they could fire me. What is the point of getting unlimited sick days as a manager if I can't use them?
