1972 I took this bike from New York State to Southern California with under $100 in my pocket .
Packed food, slept in canvas tent at rest stops or on top of picnic tables. Froze my butt at night in Colorado. Fried in Arizona. Had a vision in New Mexico (no drugs). Left right after graduating high school. Stayed in SoCal four years working two jobs.
