For me it's the following:
The three original Mad Max films
"The Junkman" and "Gone In 60 Seconds", both produced by H.B. alicki
"Bullitt" ( naturally )
"Christine" ( 1983 )
"Convoy"
"Smokey And The Bandit"
"Duel"
"Vanishing Point"
"The California Kid"
Now for some possibly lesser-known examples:

"Speedtrap" starring Joe Don Baker
