LPT: set your mower at the highest height, and side eject or mulch . The clippings return nutrients to the soil and the longer grass crowds out weeds.
Not all HOAs will allow this, and the look isn’t for everybody, but oh my gosh is my lawn healthy; a deep dark green. I also love that it’s a lot easier to than having to manage and dump grass clippings.
Be warned, it is harder to find dog poop!
Note this method primarily works with fescue and clover / micro clover lawns. (It won’t work as well with Bermuda grass)
