LPT: If your college/community has a foodbank, ask if they get funding based off of number of users. If so, go in whenever you can and take the smallest thing there
I felt bad when someone suggested I go to my college’s foodbank, but then I was encouraged by an employee to. Now i just take a piece of chocolate, sign in, and their funding increases. If they don’t have enough signups, it could even be shutdown, hurting those who need it.
It’s just a cool, easy way to help your community
