Here to slay or unstable unicorns?

Hey guy I wanna get a board game here to slay or unstable unicorns or any other game but I am concerned about how the game will play at 2 players and how random it is cuz the die makes it look very random roll die to kill a monster? SO RANDOM! Ahem... So should I get it? Or you think i should get something else?

I played both of these and I think Here to Slay is great if both players are in to RPG style games. Unstable Unicorns is great for many players but the gameplay is so simple and kinda repetitive.
