Why is 'A Little Life' hated so much?
I've recently read it and I really liked it. The depth of trauma, writing style everything was really good. I felt connected to it in so many ways and was able to understand why things were unfolding in such way. In my opinion it is one of the best book that I've ever read. I think it will be considered a classic in the next 100 years.
After reading, I looked up for it's reviews and edits, they are not many and there is so much hate towards it. Many have said that it was trauma porn, which I do not agree with cause it all felt real atleast to me, cause there are certain things that don't leave you no matter what you do. Many said that the story was not good, that jude could've been healed but he didn't wanted to and many other stuff.
I genuinely am not able understand such argument. Feel free to share your experience while reading it, I'd love to know it.
