eBest years for Siennas?
My wife and I will be buying a used van soon, and have pretty much settled on an earlier 2000s Sienna. We won't be living in the van, but using it for longer comfortable camping and traveling situations...full/queen size bed with storage and possiblity of lighter towing capabilities.
From my sleuthing, I'm considering a 2007 Sienna LE for reliability, towing ability and comfort. The better 3.5L ngine seems like a good idea from earlier models. The towing is not really a huge deal, but would be nice to have for the future.
More than anything, we want a reliable vehicle with OK gas mileage. I am not completely useless when it comes to minor work on the vehicle and maintenance.
I considered the Odyssey, but for our price range/years seems like we're rolling the dice on expensive repairs. Any vans I'm not thinking of or writing off too early?
What's your advice and experiences. seems like a great possibility for what we're looking for.
