How long did it take you to be comfortable going farther than a mile or two?
Passed my msf with flying colors last week and I'm feeling pretty confident on my bike on my city neighborhood streets. My problem currently is I need to get my bike inspected and the closest spot to do that is clear across the city. I can either take the highway for the first time or be dodging pot holes the size of the Grand canyon (gotta love the rust belt). Thinking about if I need to just say fuck the 10 day window and keep practicing or if I should just go for it.
