LPT: Treat app signups like bills. Take screenshots and save the terms before you start

Apps quietly change rewards and savings rules all the time, and it gets exhausting. I'm trying to be frugal, but most of the stress comes from not having proof of what the app promised. Too often a bonus never posts, the requirements shift, or support asks for details I can't remember.

Do this 90-second routine before you sign up or start a promo to create your own paper trail:

1) Screenshot the offer page that shows requirements, dates, and payout.

2) Screenshot the confirmation or enrollment screen after you sign up.

3) If there are terms, save them as a PDF or screenshot the important parts, especially deadlines, exclusions, and minimum cashout.

4) Rename the files consistently, for example: AppName\_OfferName\_YYYY-MM-DD.

5) Put everything in one folder called Rewards Proof so you are not digging later.

Why it helps: when something does not track or credits incorrectly, you can quickly check exactly what you agreed to. If you contact support, you answer their questions fast instead of getting flustered or rambling. It also stops you from wasting time repeating offers you already did.

Yes, it feels annoying at first, but it is way less annoying than realizing three weeks later you have zero evidence and only a vague memory of what the app promised.
