4 STORMS IN THE WEST PACIFIC OCEAN

NASA Earth Observatory has posted a photo of the Western Pacific Ocean where four storms churned simultaneously in November 2024, the first time since records began in 1951 where so many storms co-existed in one area, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.

The four storms in the photo, namely Yinxing (Bagyong Marce), Toraji (Bagyong Nika), Usagi (Bagyong Ofel), and Man-Yi (Bagyong Pepito), have either approached or passed over the Philippines and its surrounding areas, as of 8:55 AM November 11, 2024 (Philippine Standard Time).
