I am trying to go to a dental hygiene school to get cleanings done for cheap but my old dentist is giving me the runaround and won't release my records? What is my best recourse?
I've sent 2 emails and even visited the office in person. I sent an email last week requesting my X-rays. They said they would have my X-rays ready for me today when I came back for an orthodontist consultation.
Well they didn't have them ready and I had to remind them.
They said they didn't email me back my X-rays last week because the doctor needed to be in office but they will email them to me.
I have no plans to proceed with any orthodontia work they recommended as they seem to be a shady practice/ withholding my X-rays so how I can I trust their orthodontic recommendations.
They are saying they cannot print them because they are digital. I feel like this doctor is giving me the runaround even though I paid for (well my insurance paid for) both panoramic and bitewings.
