Why I Set Up a Diaspora Instance for Africa
A few months ago, I decided to launch a Diaspora instance specifically for Africa. It’s called Lethu.africa https://lethu.africa , and it’s hosted on a server in South Africa. At first glance, this might seem like a small, technical project—just another social network in a world already saturated with them. But for me a chance to keep the network alive and sharing thoughts in the federated network without big tech.
What do you think- a waste of time and effort or an interesting project?
