You raised them and they both called you dad … whether they are your blood or not what matters most is the time and memories that bonded you upon… and that strong pillar that makes their knees stood up simply because you were there as their “father”…
you are the father to your daughters and hopefully their appreciation will show up eventually. heck even biological children tend to reject their parents. it could happen to the most loving parent. are you a good father? i dont know. but take it with a grain of salt that kids are meant to be produced, raised in your best intends and eventually let go. sometimes they look back, and take care of you and then it all worked out, and sometimes they dont give-a and its like why did i waste 100k on THAT?
