Preparations to send Pakistan's first satellite mission to the moon have been completed.
Dr. Khurram Khurshid, a member of the core committee of the Institute of Space Technology, has said that Pakistan's first satellite mission will be sent to the moon on May 3 at 12:50 p.m.
He said that this mission will be sent into space from China's Henan Space Launch Site. The launch of satellite iCube Qamar will be telecast live from the website.
He said that iCube Qamar was designed and developed jointly by China and Sparco, two cameras are installed in iCube Qamar to take important pictures from the south pole of the Moon. The South Pole is the part of the Moon that is not visible from Earth and has been studied very little.
On the success of the mission, Pakistan became the first in the Islamic world to do so and the sixth in the world, and the third country after India to go to the South Pole along with China.
