CPeng vs RPeng

So with the new registration requirements coming in to Victoria, Australia for registration. I'm looking at going down the road of getting either Registered (RPeng) with the Association of Professional Engineers Australia (APEA) or Chartered (CPeng) with Engineers Australia.

What is your opinion on which one is best from a long term cost, employability and usefulness? For context I am a mechanical design engineer.
