I want to share my experience as a housewife who wants to earn extra income and contribute to our household. I recall starting a small business selling sofa covers during the pandemic. With my sewing skills from working in a garment and bag manufacturing company, I had doubts and questions. How do I start? Will my output be good enough? Will people buy from me? Will they trust me?
I took a risk and bought a portable sewing machine. Thankfully, online resources helped me learn sofa cover measurements and sewing techniques. I'm grateful for online mentors willing to teach.
Sewing requires patience and dedication. Initially, I made mistakes and had to redo some covers, but thankfully, my products improved. I'm proud of my progress and proud to contribute to our household income, and gain financial independence."
I've learned that with determination and perseverance, we can overcome any challenge and doubt. Don't let self-doubt hold you back; let's not fear and try new things, learn from mistakes, and grow. Everyone makes mistakes at first, but through those mistakes, we learn and overcome self-doubt."

1. Embrace challenges and lifelong learning.
2. Persist through self-doubt.
