Literary movements/scenes
This may be a silly question, (I live in the middle of nowhere, so I'm not well-versed in this topic) but are literary movements (like the Beat generation) still a thing? Are there still underground literary circles and stuff like that? If so, where are they and what do they look like today? How do you see them evolving?
I only know of certain DIY scenes in large cities like NYC and Philadelphia. I really only see young people reading deadpan Notes app poetry, so if there are actual scenes still around, I would love to learn about them!
