MAD MAX 2 #RetroRevieW

Miller built the plot of his film based on its fast-paced action scenes and its visual effectiveness. Some critics pointed out that the film lacked dialogue and therefore depth, which was just a cheap excuse to show us 90 minutes of senseless violence!! !. I think they are wrong, its lack of deep and long dialogues does not detract from it, Mad Max2 has more depth than most action movies that have been filmed. Miller used very well the gloomy post-apocalyptic future that awaited humanity in a world without fuel, just when in the 1980s we were in the middle of the Cold War and with a growing oil crisis, increasing the strength of his proposal. In a world that is quite pessimistic about the future, wondering, is this what would happen if a Third World War really occurred? Miller used his vision of that post-war world as the perfect setting to portray the eternal conflict between Man, "as we should be and as we really are." Its simple plot, taken from classic westerns, provided the necessary contrast to show the two groups in dispute!!!. On the one hand, the good ones: they work hard, they are idealists and despite the fall of civilization they try to maintain the values of the old world that no longer exists, and on the other, the bad ones: they have no scruples or any morals, they apply the Law of the strongest taking what they want, they adapted to the decadent world that now prevails!!! Although as viewers we obviously identify with the good guys, we know that if that scenario were real the bad guys would win.
