The Major General the Yazid Munir feared.
As of recently Munir has been promoting people to generals and many of them seem to be ones who are less competent and have no merit in the hire.
The man who was denied a promotion was Major General Raza Aizad a man who was a distinguished officer and won the sword of honour and also studied at the NDU.
Sources from many army insiders and experts were asked about the major general and none of them could speak or remember one bad note that now-superseded Maj Gen Aizad had on his record.
Asim Munir perceived him as a future threat to himself. He was truly a rare gem, but there is no place for merit among Asim Munir's courtiers. He is turning the army into his personal grand mafia.
I wonder why he feared a major general so much though? Was there a plot to remove Munir in place? Or was Munir afraid of a more competent general taking him out and removing him.
The major general in question is expected to be forced into retirement after the new law passed by govt allows Munir ultimate authority to force officers into retirement
The question remains why?
( Side note I dislike every general as I think they are all the same dollar hungry khotas but this has me curious )
