Sh2-261 Lower's Nebula

Sh2-261 | Lower’s Nebula in Hubble Palette

27.5 hours of integration captured over four nights this January. This target is often overlooked due to its faintness, but the extended OIII shells are incredibly intricate when pushed.

Imaging at f/2.0 requires precise filter selection to handle bandpass shift. The Baader Highspeed SHO filters performed exceptionally well here, maintaining contrast across the frame despite the fast optics.
