Rabbit hears dogs squeak toy and stops by
My dog was playing with her squeak ball and I saw out the window a rabbit come running through the parking lot and it came right up to the sidewalk in front of the windows and stood on its hind legs, just listening. The squeak must sound identical to a baby bunny in distress because I don’t know what else would make a bunny literally run a good 100 feet and basically put itself in danger like this one did. I actually feel sort of bad for the bunny and I tried to go to the window and squeak the toy so it could see but it just ran back to where it was and sat there. I’ve never seen anything like it before. The rabbit literally came running over to the house and it had to be the squeaky ball. I wonder if they all would react that way if they heard it. Pretty incredible!
