advised me to install the free Merlin Bird ID app, and its the coolest app I've seen in years. Download it to your phone, turn it on and walk around your neighborhood. It will listen for bird noises and show you which birds are around you in real time! I had it running yesterday while I rode my bike around the neighborhood and it was shocking how good it was. Try it!
