Distinguishing "computer science" jobs vs jobs that requires coding?
How do you differentiate between a "computer science / SWE/.soft ware development" job and jobs that requires coding?
For example, I work as a test engineer and 90% of my work consist of writing python automation scripts and programs ( I say program because it has GUI for end user) to test semiconductor chips.
I probably wouldn't consider this software development because the end goal is to test IC chips instead of actually developing software
