Thankful for this game pulling me out of my gaming rut
Been stuck in a bad gaming rut for almost a year at this point. I constantly have been buying things that I normally would enjoy and just could never get into them. Part of it definitely had to do with depression, but I usually found solace with my gaming.
Finally, Lego Batman comes around and I've always been a huge batman fan and played a ton of all the Arkham games. This game is a treasure and I had nothing but fun playing through it. It has a great light tone with plenty of Easter eggs and references to make any fan happy. The collectables weren't nearly as grueling as most Lego games have been in the past as well. I definitely feel like it gave me my spark back to play.
Just picked up 007: First Light as I'm also a huge Bond fan and have enjoyed watching other streamers play through parts. I'm happy to get to play these back to back now as I work towards loving my hobby again.
