Would a Kawasaki Vulcan S fit a 6’5” rider, and is it a good first motorcycle?
Hey everyone, I’m looking at buying my first motorcycle and could use some advice from people who have actually owned or ridden a Vulcan S. I’m **6’5” (195 cm), about 195–200 lbs, with a 36” inseam**. I recently sat on a **2016 Vulcan S ABS**, and the dealer said it has the **forward controls** and can be fitted with Kawasaki’s **Extended Reach Ergo-Fit** parts (seat, foot controls, and handlebar position). He also said 10–12” mini ape handlebars would work well for my height. My questions are: Would I look too big on a Vulcan S, or does it still look proportional for someone my size? Are any of you around **6’4”–6’6”** riding one? If so, do you have pictures? Is it actually comfortable for longer rides (1–3 hours)? Would you recommend it as a **first bike** for someone my size? How does it compare to bikes like the **Yamaha V Star 1300, Yamaha V Star 1100, or Honda VTX 1300**? Any regrets buying a Vulcan S instead of a larger cruiser? For context, I mostly want to cruise back roads and highways, ride occasionally with my girlfriend, and eventually black it out with **10–12” mini apes** and a bobber-style look. I’d really appreciate hearing from taller riders. Thanks! #motorcycles source
