In my hand is a simple, slightly worn 1x1 ID picture. To most, it might just look like a faded photograph, but for me, it is the most valuable thing I own. This is my Papa. Since I was a child, he was the only person I truly had my constant, my protector, and my home. When he passed away, the world felt a lot emptier, and this tiny photo, along with his physical IDs, is all I have left to touch and hold.
Every time I look at his face in this small square of paper, I'm reminded of everything he did for me. It's a bit weathered now, and my camera doesn't quite capture the details perfectly, but I see him clearly with my heart. I'm actually planning to have this preserved maybe on a sindra board or something similar because I'm so afraid of time fading his image. I want to make sure that no matter how many years go by, I can still look into his eyes and feel that connection we shared.
This isn't just a picture it's a piece of my history and a reminder that even though he isn't here physically, I'm still carrying his love with me. It's irreplaceable, and I'll protect it for as long as I live.🥺❤️🕊️
