Beware of new scam site for board game sales.
I'll be happy to take this post down if I'm wrong about this, as I don't want to talk bad about a legitimate site if they are real.
There's a boardgame site that came online just two weeks ago according to their website registration information, called boardcask ( www.boardcask.com)...I was looking for a hard to find game recently, and this site came up as having the game in stock, and also on sale for a price way below what it should be.
After twenty seconds of being amazed at my luck, my critical thinking skills kicked in.
I poked around the site, and saw, they have almost 39,000 board games for sale...and every one I saw just happened to be in stock, and on sale.
I looked up the address on the site, and it's at some little shopping plaza in Mississippi, that has no game store currently there at that address.
Clicking through the site more...it is very much sounding just AI generated, and they scraped every board game that they could find a picture for, and put it on their site.
I am 99.9% sure this site is a scam of some sort. So, beware out there gamers.
