Everything wrong about VIT BHOPAL
A mediocre college with very strict restrictions for students.
Students are treated as shit and campus feels like prison.
The news about jaundice, water and food is just a tip of the iceberg.
1. Girls are not allowed outside hostels after 6pm even though affidavit mentions 8:30.
2. Strict proctor system, if a person needs to go outside campus for a single day he must first make his parents talk to proctor then mail the proctor then they will approve then 2 days prior to outing we need to prepare an outing slip from office and then need to sign a register outside hostel and again on the gate and same after returning and that too only for 9 AM to 6PM outing.
Girls are allowed only 1 outing per month and boys 2 outing.
3. Students are only allowed to leave college to go to hometown not anywhere else even after permission of parents.
4. Girls are abused by wardens and hostel staff repeatedly when they try to communicate problems and also when they try to wear what they want.
5. Guards of girl's hostel are males and they can wander inside girl's hostel even the workers of hostels (male) can visit girls' rooms but parents can't enter the premises.
6. Strict 75% attendance system but there's more to it, there is marks for attendance 75-79% 1 marks, 80-84 2 marks, 85-89 3 marks, 90-94 4 marks , 95-100 5 marks and no relief for students who were medically I'll
So if someone is ill the grades will directly be affected as internal marks have weightage more than midterms or endterms
7. No expert medical assistance, the staff says I am not professional enough to give an injection.
Guards behave like kings, they check us on main gate in campus touching everywhere for maggie (seriously)
8. There is no place for seating of students anywhere in campus, anywhere you sit guards start whistling, classrooms are open only during class and teacher is present otherwise guards shut the classes down.
9.Libraries are shit no wifi nothing.
10.Fines even for holding hands, no physical contact between boys and girls.
All these issues need to be addressed.
