Wouldn’t everyone have been happier if Spider-Man had just skipped grad school, worked a normal job, left petty criminals to the police, and only dealt with monstrous enemies that the police couldn’t handle—and even then, fought to kill them, striking their vital points with full force under the justification of self-defense?
