Best vacuum packing bags that actually stay sealed long term?
I’m looking for vacuum bags that I can use for both storage at home and travel, mostly for clothes, blankets and bedding.
The last set I had worked pretty well at first, but after around two months the external pump stopped working. A few of the bags also slowly started letting air back in, even when they weren’t being moved around. So this time I’m more concerned about durability than getting the cheapest option.
I’ve looked at a bunch of travel vacuum bags and vacuum seal travel bags, but the reviews are all over the place. I’d prefer something that doesn’t rely on a separate pump I need to carry around, especially when traveling.
For anyone who’s used the same bags for a year or longer, what has actually held up? Do they still keep their seal after being opened and reused multiple times, and has the pump held up too?
I don’t mind paying a little more if they actually last. Thanks!
