LPT: Stop relying on memory for work tasks you might need to explain later
At work, a lot of people only keep track of what they still need to do, and assume they’ll remember what they already finished.
The problem is, you usually don’t.
A simple habit that helps is quickly writing down what you completed and what impact it had, right after you finish something. It doesn’t need to be detailed, just enough that you can understand it later.
It makes performance reviews, interviews, and resume updates way easier because you’re not trying to reconstruct your entire work history from memory.
