What’s this head I found in my grandpas garage?

Working on my pitbike, searching for tools when I found this on a top shelf, almost hidden. Freaked me out and my grandpa is a nice but stern old guy who was a carpenter, VERY Christan and by the book and this seems ritualistic or voodoo, anyone got ideas?
