'ITS SOMETHING I'M TRULY PROUD OF' Marian Rivera gets Top Taxpayer recognition in Mandaluyong City
Marian Rivera was recently recognized as one of the top taxpayers in Mandaluyong City.
On Thursday, October 1, 2026, Marian shared on Instagram photos from the recognition ceremony. She captioned her post with the hashtag #PagkilalasaNatatangingTaxpayer .
The plaque cited Marian "for being one of the Top Taxpayers of RDO No. 41 - Mandaluyong City and for your invaluable contribution to the District's successful achievement of its revenue collection target for the First Semester of 2026."
The recognition ceremony was held at Revenue District Office (RDO) No. 41-Mandaluyong City, located on the second floor of Shaw Center Mall along Shaw Boulevard corner Nueve de Pebrero Street, Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City.
No details were disclosed regarding the amount of taxes Marian paid.

She told PEP: "Of course, I feel very grateful and honored to receive this recognition.
"Para sa akin, higit sa award, fulfilling malaman na sa simpleng pagtupad natin ng responsibilidad bilang taxpayer, may naiaambag tayo sa ating bansa at sa kapwa natin Pilipino.
"It's something I'm truly proud of."
Asked what message she would like to share with fellow Filipinos about paying the proper taxes, Marian stressed that every taxpayer contributes to the country's progress and development.
"Ang pagbabayad ng tamang buwis ay responsibilidad nating lahat. Every contribution matters, big or small.

This is not the first time Marian has been recognized for her tax contributions.
The actress, also known as Marian Rivera-Dantes, has been included several times in the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s lists of top individual taxpayers.
In 2008, she was included among celebrities who made it to the BIR's Top 500 Individual Taxpayers list.
In 2009, Marian ranked 62nd, with reported taxes paid amounting to around PHP10.12 million.
She remained on the list in 2010, placing 86th after paying approximately PHP11.8 million to PHP11.89 million in taxes based on taxable income of roughly PHP37.2 million to PHP37.27 million.
In 2014, Marian again ranked among the country’s top taxpayers, placing 98th with reported tax payments of around PHP19 million.
