Cheap products that you take advantage of in Germany
I've lived in Germany for a while and found out that some items are priced quite low, even comparable to a developing country. For instance I usually buy chicken legs, beef shank, pork belly and canned tuna because of how cheap they are, all but beef cost around €5-6/kg on sale. When I wanted to bake cheesecake, the price of Philadelphia cream cheese was already half of that where I'm from, but then I saw how affordable quark was and ended up discovering Käsekuchen, probably now my favourite cheesecake recipe and the ingredients for a whole 18cm cake only cost about €2 in total.
It would be nice to know more affordable stuffs, not just groceries.
