Compiling a list of all the subscription services that give a discount when you threaten to cancel
I did some searching but was unable to find a comprehensive list so I figured we could all work together to make such a list. I can edit this post to add services as people give input. Ideally please include either a % discount or a $$ discount amount you've been able to get. We should also get a list of companies who never discount their subscriptions.
Services that will discount
* SiriusXM (from $27/month down to $5/month!)
* Cox Cable (from \~$100/month down to $80/month)
* Spectrum
* Comcast (promotional 12 month offer)
* Rogers (20-30%)
* Paramount+ trail (2 extra months free)
* Hulu
* HBO Max ($4.99/month for 3 months)
* Starz
* NYT (from $25/month to $4/month)
* Kindle Unlimited (3 months for $1)
* Adobe
Unknown if the following will discount (I will add info as people comment)
* Disney+
