Looking at a van this weekend, what do I need to pay attention to?
The van is 6k CAD, 2002 Ford 350 super duty with 390,000kms. Insulated, laminate flooring, pull out double bed. Sink with gray water tank, propane cooktop, solar panel and 100w battery, an absurd amount of storage
Repairs done: new spark plugs, blower engine, new battery, gas filter.
Repairs needed: rust, windshield, leaks power steering, new transformation system for solar.
What do I need to look at mechanical wise, electrical wise, anything. I want to make an informed decision before I buy it. Might try to offer less because he is in a hurry to sell due to moving and the transformation system wasn't mentioned in ad, he told me after I asked($500-700 he says to fix).
Things I would like to do: add fridge, add solar panels, bigger battery, maybe shore or alternator power, and some fairy lights
I looked at stuff on black Friday but what am I looking at for cost of repairs, maintenance, things I want to add
