Is there any long term optimism?
The job market and overall economic forecast for the next decade are both so completely bleak that I cannot see how things can be any semblance of normal as seen in decades prior. The stability of America (and the rest of the world too honestly) feels like it’s teetering on the precipice of another massive depression. Pair the economic issues with the fact that climate damage that is rapidly ramping up, where do we find ourselves in 5-10 years when we have disrupted food supply, terrible economy, refugee surges, and multi-regional water shortages? I’m 26 I can’t find a new job I have a degree and 5 years of professional experience but there is like no opportunity that seems to be in sight either? Am I dooming or does it seem to anyone else that we’re kinda just really fucked and will have to be the ones to rebuild a complete mismanagement of our resources
