How to fix Billionaires
Since they need to hoard money from us just to prove who the best billionaire is, I have the solution.
Every dollar in a portfolio above $10 billion dollars is taxed at 25%. Meaning every year, the entire portfolio has to pay 25% in taxes for everything over $10 bil. So Elon would pay 25% on $990,000,000,000 next year.
Poor people would still be motivated to make their cool business plan turn them into a billionaire. They can hoard up to $10bil by exploiting workers.
Elon would be happy because since he’s so superior, he can easily get more than a 25% return on his portfolio with all his insider information and genius business decisions. So he would technically still grow his money.
And we take a small part of the money to throw them a “Billionaire Tour” where they get an entire stadium where people can just show up and worship them. Then the billionaires can measure their wieners against who has the most people attend their stadium tours.
The US can then implement universal health care, subsidize payroll taxes leading to higher wages, implement social programs for poor people who were redlined out of generational wealth, and whatnot.
