Even if I have nothing left,
No riches, no home, no place to rest,
Even if my hands are empty and bare,
I will trust You still, for You are there.
Even if the road is heavy with pain,
And my prayers feel lost in the falling rain,
Even if the nights feel silent and long,
I will still lift my voice in worship and song.
Even if my body grows weary and weak,
And sickness steals the words I speak,
Even if death stands close at my door,
I will still praise You, now and forevermore.
I will always hope for joy to come,
For trials to pass, for battles won.
But through it all, in loss or gain,
Forever, Lord, I’ll bless Your name.

"Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior."
