💡 SCIENCE BEHIND THE ILLUSION:

Both lines are mathematically identical in length! Franz Carl Müller-Lyer discovered that our brain's depth-estimation system interprets outward fins as the far corner of an interior room, and inward fins as the near exterior corner of a building, stretching the perceived length.
