This photo went viral across Germany. The renowned German magazine “Der Spiegel” investigated it and searched for the residence of the young Indian man shown in the picture. It turned out that he was living illegally in Munich. The journalist asked him: “Sir, were you aware that the blonde woman sitting next to you is Maisie Williams , one of the stars of the famous series Game of Thrones , who has millions of fans around the world dreaming of just taking a selfie with her? Yet, you showed no reaction or interest in her?”
He replied: “Ma’am, all my focus was on how to evade the ticket inspector because I’m used to riding the train without a ticket, as I don’t have legal residency or even a single euro in my pocket.”
After the interview, the magazine hired him as a mail carrier with a monthly salary of 800 euros. As a result, he obtained a work contract and legal residency without any issues.
