Yin yang, feminine energies and masculine energies, what does that mean to you?
Every human being, regardless of gender (or non-gender) or sexual orientation, comes from the meeting of a man and a woman, two complementary and opposing energies: the feminine, and the masculine. 💃🕺
These two polarities are opposed, complementary and in constant interaction. Their union makes it possible to achieve harmony and balance within oneself.✔️
Feminine energy (or "Yin" energy according to Chinese Taoism) is "experience" oriented - its inherent qualities are: welcoming, being, feeling, listening to intuition, following flow, unconsciousness, sensitivity, slowness, sensuality, compassion, inspiration, water...🌷🌺👠👗👙
Male energy (or "Yang" energy), on the other hand, is more "result" oriented - its inherent qualities are: having, doing, giving, encouraging, producing, being rational, acting, being in performance, conscious, authority, protection, finding solutions, fire.👔🧢🥾
However, our Western societies encourage performance, combativeness, the constant need to take action, to "get out" of one's comfort zone, materialism and the constant need for recognition. These behaviors largely prioritize masculine energy.😲🙄
Yet connecting to our feminine energy is essential to living in alignment with our deepest being, and not consuming ourselves by disproportionately deploying our masculine energy in actions that don't make sense to us.😋😍
