If the US economy is "booming" like the news says, why does it feel like everyone I know is one emergency away from being broke?
I keep seeing headlines about how the stock market is hitting all-time highs, unemployment is low, and the GDP is great, but that doesn't seem to match what's actually happening on the ground.
My clients are not able to afford copay.
Is there a specific economic term for this disconnect? Like, are the "good" numbers just reflecting how rich people are doing, or am I just missing something about how the economy is measured? #conversation source
