Am I the only person that remembers? Am I completely misremembering?
I've been in multiple spats with people over the years over this. As I remember it, Hillary Clinton conspired with the DNC to rob Bernie Sanders of the Democratic nomination. Bernie won largely in most of the states, and then in the state (I forget which exactly) that would make or break the nomination, he won, but the Democratic reps of that state went against the public's vote (as I believe they technically can legally do) and voted Hillary in instead.
This was heavily covered in her leaked emails. It's why we got Trump as president, because America couldn't stand the idea of that crazy bitch being in charge of us. In a long and somewhat indirect way, it's way the left is so annoying and whiny to this day, and if you doubt a single decision made on that side, you're labeled a Trump supporter. I can't even say something negative about Hillary these days (I've always hated her, her vibes have always been so Purge-y) without insane backlash about how she's great and again, I'm apparently a Trump supporter. It seemed like people forgot almost immediately about the nomination theft, but nowadays, they have forgotten that she's always been a piece of shit.
Somebody tell me I mostly got this right, or if not, please correct me because I feel like I'm losing my mind. source
